“Lower prices start with the right leaders, and today hardworking Michiganders made it clear who they want as their champion in the U.S. Senate. Congratulations to Senator-elect Abdul El-Sayed on a hard-fought win. El-Sayed didn't just talk about the skyrocketing costs of groceries, gas, and healthcare or the chaos caused by ICE in our communities — he listened. He earned the trust of Latino voters by delivering a clear vision for a better, more affordable economic future. We are proud of the work done in Michigan where Latino voters were reached at historic levels: over 28,000 doors knocked, over 3,000 conversations and a combined $3 million invested across Somos PAC’s program and Somos Votantes’ separate, nonpartisan program. Now, the real work begins. Voters are sending El-Sayed to Washington to deliver real, tangible relief. But the clock is ticking, it’s time to show working families that government can actually deliver results.”
