Somos Votantes and Somos PAC Celebrate Historic Victories in the House
Record-setting Latino voter turnout propelled Democrats across the finish line and into a massive majority
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Somos Votantes and Somos PAC founder and president Melissa Morales released the following statement on House results, where Somos PAC’s investments in TX-15 for Bobby Pulido, TX-23 for Katy Padilla Stout, TX-35 for Johnny C. Garcia, MI-04 for Sean McCann, WI-01 for Mitchell Berman, CO-08 for Manny Rutinel, and CA-22 for Randy Villegas put Latino voters at the center of the fight for the majority.
“Latino voters delivered a historic referendum on the cost of living, sending a clear message: our community wants leaders focused on lowering prices, not prioritizing Trump’s tariffs, a war with Iran, and immigration operations that terrorize our families. These candidates earned every vote. They came with a vision for the economy and spoke to what’s top of mind for Latino families: gas, food, and health care costs. They delivered a clear message about taking on the billionaires and corrupt politicians driving prices up. Latino voters rewarded candidates who showed up and listened.
We are proud of the work done in these House districts to reach Latino voters: more than 700,000 doors knocked, nearly 100,000 conversations and a combined $20 million invested across Somos PAC’s program and Somos Votantes’ separate, nonpartisan program.
